For the best tasting coffee we suggest 2 level tablespoons of freshly ground coffee for every 6 oz. of cold fresh water. You can increase or decrease the amount of coffee used to adjust the flavor to suite your taste. It is important that the bean grind is optimal for your coffee maker in order to avoid a watery or bitter taste. Choose or set your grind to: - Medium for drip coffee makers Most of all, making great coffee is all about experimenting to find that perfect cup that you will savor and enjoy the most. We have found that at home the Aeropress produces the best cup for us quickly and with easy clean up. We have these makers available at our Shoppe so that you may enjoy a perfect cup too. |

The body of coffee refers to the way the weight or thickness feels in your mouth, the feeling of light, medium or full. When describing the acidity level of coffee it has nothing to do with the amount of acid or pH. The coffees acidity is the bright, tangy, fruity, or wine like flavors that are found in high grown Arabica varieties. It is the lively pleasing taste in your mouth and without any level of acidity the coffee would be bland. Many coffees have the taste and aroma of fruit as coffee beans are seeds of the coffee cherry, and some coffees produce the aroma of sweet spices like cinnamon, cloves and allspice. |
